First of all, this hen pull toy comes with a SIX INCH string. One other reviewer said the string was plenty long for her child. Um ... she must be the mother to an elf. Or, she's related to the seller. There is NO WAY this string is long enough to call it a "pull toy". In fact -- the photograph shown for this item is a complete lie/misrepresentation of the actual size/product. I am telling you -- it's six inches! The manufacturer must have had a panic attack about possible strangulation lawsuits or something and cut the strings down to nothing. You will absolutely have to tie an old shoe string/twine/yarn onto this to be a pull toy -- so just be aware of that fact if you purchase it. Second, the eggs DUMP right out of the hen's butt all at once THE SECOND YOU LOAD THEM -- they don't plop out one at a time as the hen is pulled along (which is what you'd expect per the description). It's like the hen has diarrhea! This has got to be the WORST toy I have ever purchased or seen. Beyond that, it doesn't come with batteries. This hen is getting a one-way ticket back to the coup, or in other words, WE ARE RETURNING IT! We'll buy another Melissa and Doug pull toy. My daughter has the frog from Melissa and Doug and it has been wonderful.
