Dollhouse Miniature 12-Pc. 1/4" x 1/4" Strip Wood Set Review
These 1/4 x 1/4 wood strips of basswood will do the job. I'm creating a wooden case or carrying cabinet to transport my wet Masonite panels as I am a plein air painter and always have wet panels to deal with on-site in the wild. These strips of wood are integral in my design and will be glued in an opposing parallel fashion within a pre-constructed wood box which has a carrying handle attached. There will be slots to slide the wet panels and keep them safe and their wet surfaces away from each other. Using scrap lumber, glue, and a few nails and a braided handle I'm saving about $65.00 off the list price for such an item from a catalogue.
