Little People Learning Zoo Animals A to Z Figure Bag Review

I bought these as items for "letter boxes" for phonics work with my preschoolers. Letter boxes are containers, each with little toys and items inside that begin with the sound of one letter. The child repeats the name of the item, stressing or stuttering the first sound while tracing that letter. I especially liked the X-ray fish. These animals look not much like the real thing. The flamingo's legs would prevent walking or bending, for example. But anatomical correctness or accuracy is not the goal here, and they are cute and not scary, at least. Oh, and that "U" animal that looks like a mislabeled ram? It's a Urel.
