Father's Perspective: This doll house is of better build quality than I expected. Most or all of the load bearing hardware are furniture quality. Quality hardware, strong screw-into-nut connections, arranged in bubblepack so it's easy to find what hardware goes where. Holes drilled accurately. Nothing missing. Assembly instructions are pretty good, although it helps to have the photo of the product in view. Fits together as it should, with no need to "re-engineer" as I am accustomed to doing. Pine wood structural elements with (reinforced) particle board floors and walls. Of Chinese manufacture, but designed by a company in Texas that clearly sweat the details. I rate this a quality product. Goes together in an hour, unless your daughter is helping, in which case, two hours.
