Greenleaf Dollhouse Furniture Kit Review
This set is made of cheap, thin wood and is difficult to work with but can be made to look nice with some work and extra modifications. It's not designed for rough play but is fine for older children, (maybe 6 or 7 and up, depending on the child), who won't be playing roughly with it.If you're looking for something inexpensive to furnish your doll house, this will work very nicely. The drawers, lid on the chest and lid on the hanky drawer on the dresser are not designed to function but I was able to make a hinge for the hankie drawer, and the lid to the trunk so they open and close. This also requires the addition of a wooden back and bottom on the trunk. I also added a wooden back on the dresser as it's backless and designed to be pushed against a wall so the back doesn't show. It may also be possible to make a back and bottom out of thin cardboard or cardstock, again, depending on how much rough play the set will receive.
My kids are very pleased with how this turned out.
