My son received two of these rattles at his baby shower, & I briefly considered returning one - boy, am I glad I kept them both! From birth, this rattle has caught his eye, & now he's five months old. We keep one at home, & one in the diaper bag. He loves to shake it around, chew on it & pass it from hand to hand. Its about the size of an adult palm, so its big & easy on baby hands. The purple-ringed section is filled with noisy, eye-catching beads & also rolls.
