Springfield Collection 18" Doll: Emma Review

Nice to see that these dolls are now coming with dresses, but still no brush or improvement in quality!
I bought these for my nieces who were pining over AG Dolls and figured we'd try with these first. Of course we had to pay for outfits and accessories and it got really expensive(and are not worth the money). For the other reviewers that are using them as models to make clothes, that's wonderful. Kudos. But when we got the dolls out of the package, their hair was stuck to the plastic holding them in the boxes and we had to "un-sew" it out of their hair. The dolls would not sit, the legs felt loose and again the hair is just awful and tangly. So "Ashley" and "Robyn" now have big thick braids to hide their rats nests and they lay down a lot when they ARE played with.
Gave three stars because they are a lot like the more expensive dolls in the looks dept. and apparently they are great for home-made dress makers,but if I had to buy them again I would just go on a road trip and get the real, top quality deal.
