Geotrax Big City Lights Center Review

My kids got this new geotrax piece for Christmas and were very excited. (We also got the rainbow bridge which we LOVE). For the Price $30 (although there were a few pre-holiday sales of $15-20), I was expecting it to light up when the trains go in front of this piece or under it.
THAT is my biggest complaint!!!! I like the pieces where they are activated when the trains go on them. This piece the child has to push a button the the front to make it work. It is very cool when it lights up, and we will keep it for our collection, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that isn't a collector.
OUR favorite Geotrax Add-on's are:
Clock Tower (light activated music as trains go through the tower), Rocky Falls Tunnel (light activated tunnel, water wheel spins & nature sounds), Rainbow Bridge (trains push a button as they pass on the bridge activating the lights).

Geotrax Big City Lights Center Overview

Brighten up your GeoTrax Railway with a city full of lights and sounds. Press on the skyscraper for a brilliant lightshow and beeping and honking sounds. Operate the crane by lifting and lowering "brick" play pieces, and move the crane to hear fun construction sounds as you help build the city. There's even a multi-level parking garage where you can bring all your other GeoTrax vehicles to park (additional vehicles sold separately).
Playset includes skyscraper with working lights, multi-level parking garage, working crane, police station with flip-down gate, specialty cross-track piece, bus, four building pieces, one "brick" play piece and one "newspaper" play piece. Requires 3 "AA" batteries (not included).
