Dollhouse Miniature 1/4" Scale Santa's Village by Corona Review
I liked putting this village together. The illustrations and instructions were clear, and once I punched out the wood, the windows, and the trim, I found it easy to keep them organized by putting them into labeled plastic sandwich bags. The wood is pretty sturdy, as none of it broke while I was handling it. I definitely recommend a hot glue gun to put the wood parts together, and regular school white glue for the windows and trim. The only hard part was putting the church front together (mine didn't fit 100% perfectly). I have a couple of small gaps between wooden parts, so I am using wood filler for those and then painting over. I do recommend wood filler or a few coats of paint to fill in the tabbed slots where the pieces fit together. The size of this village is great, as the buildings will fit under the tree. I do not recommend this kit as a toy for small children to play with, but more as a Christmas scene to look at and enjoy. There is a tiny space in the floor where a wall meets it in case you want to insert tiny seed lights inside the building for internal lighting. That is helpful!
