Both of my sons love Batman. We have the Imaginext(?) Batout and my kids love it as well as the other toys. We recently discovered Trios and are big fans. The pieces are much larger than Legos--which means that kids are less likely to lose them, plus they can build bigger things more easily. Both my 5 and 7 year old have had great fun building all sorts of different flying contraptions from the Trio BatWing set. We've bought Lego sets designed for 5+ before, but honestly, many of them are too complicated for my kids to put together by themselves. With Trio, both my 5 and 7 year old can follow the directions in the manual and easily create whatever it is they want to create.
