Baby Genius Doctor Kit Review

I bought this doctor set because it had the pieces I was looking for. Specifically, I was looking for otoscope. I thought this set had one, but it turns out it's actually an ear thermometer. It's not really a big deal as my son still holds it up to his ear. The stethoscope is okay, but it's made of hard plastic that neither my son nor I can tolerate in our ears even for a very short amount of time. Also, the stethoscope is very inflexible so it's hard to even pretend to listen to someone else's heart. I really wish it made some kind of sound (squeak, thump). The shot, scissors, and reflex hammer are okay. Nothing special. The case is nice to keep everything in, but we can't clasp it all the way or else it's very difficult for my son (and myself) to open.
As my son gets older, I hope to find him a more realistic and interactive doctor kit. For now, at 18 months old, this kit works.
