Dollhouse Miniature Side-By-Side Duplex Kit Review
At a great price this room seemed like a good pick up. What they don't say is that none of the doors or windows are punched out, and they are barely scored. It took some time/elbow grease, and a sharp blade to get these out. Also each board, or side is a slightly different color. Which is fine, since most people will paint this, but it also means deciding which side to use on the front and which on the back. I chose the lighter colored side for the inside. It felt smoother and will probably paint better. There were some defects, like splinters in the wood (especially where the doors/windows are punched out) and also the longer side pieces, or the top and bottom, were bowed. Which means the middle room divider is barely touching the top when glued in place. Even with heavy books on it, it is still not super secure. I will probably caulk it after priming for extra stability.For the price, it is a good buy, but the quality is so-so. You get what you pay for as usual.
